Glenda Furia, cortonese, is on wedding business together with Stefania Svetti since 2005, when they gave birth to CortonaEvents.
(................)Foreign couples are all charmed by Italy and mostly, lately, by "Under the Tuscan Sun" movie and book, both with Cortona as location.
Cortona is in fact the 4th town in Italy in terms of number of weddings celebrated.

Glenda and Stefania are based in Tuscany-Cortona but work all over Italy where they have many collaborations.

[…] Our wedding planner found the spot. she was wonderful, very flexible on everything. They specialize on not doing typical package style weddings and will create something to your wishes. the company is Cortona Events, and is run by two women: Glenda Furia and Stefania Svetti, both were born and raised in Tuscany and speak English. Also, not sure if it's so with catholic weddings, but apparently every Italian must also do a civil service at the local town hall. We had ours at Castiglion Fiorentino, again a suggestion from our wedding planner. It's an absolutely gorgeous undiscovered gem of a Tuscan hill town, […]. Glenda! I miss you and Stefania! Thank you so much for the picture and for the video. I was so surprised and touched when Rob told me you were videotaping the whole thing. We have been going non-stop since arriving back from beautiful Italy. We just had our big party for family and friends on Saturday night and still have family visiting from other areas. I wore my wedding dress again and John wore his suit. We had a big screen TV with a slide show of all of the photos. We are absolutely thrilled with the photos. I can’t remember the photographer’s name but please pass on our sincere thanks. Everyone at our party commented on how beautiful they were.
Both John and I were so happy with everything. Cortona will be our destination place for anniversary trips.
You and Stefania were brilliant with your help.
